About Us
When creating The Wild Bloomer, its purpose was something that goes much deeper than being just a brand. At its core, its purpose is to connect you back to the earth, in turn connecting you back to who you really are, your true inner self. Something that can be easily lost in this fast-paced modern world. Through ancient and sacred dyeing practices, our hope is that these products encourage this reconnection with yourself in a slow and sustainable way, as one with nature, where our souls are truly meant to be.
Sustainability
Sustainability is a complex, everchanging and crucial movement to ensure we avoid any further depletion of natural resources and life on mother earth. Although we are not perfect, we promise to strive to continue to push boundaries to bring you slow, mindfully handmade natural products that are both kind to the world and people.
What we do
✿ We naturally dye all our products with a variety of plants, flowers, leaves, barks, food waste and pigments derived from nature which are all 100% biodegradable and cause no water pollution.
✿ We aim to be zero waste by using food waste from households and local Brisbane café Lady Marmalade, along with flowers, leaves and barks that have or are nearing the end of their life.
✿ We are proudly a part of the slow fashion movement, with each product mindfully and carefully naturally hand dyed in small batches, a process that can take weeks at a time to complete.
✿ We are plastic free by using compostable mailers for all posted items and recycled paper for our swing tags.
✿ Our products are washable, reusable and help you live plastic free.
✿ Our bags are manufactured with the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) Certification.
✿ All our products are hand-dyed here in Brisbane.
